ABOUT THE EVENT
For the season finale, NAVO is proud to present its first festival packed with multifaceted programs featuring Kansas City-raised star violinist Maria Ioudenitch as the inaugural Artist-in-Residence. The festival will showcase Kansas City's finest artists in an action-packed week of recitals, chamber music, and orchestral programs. NAVO’s audience is in for a treat with works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms, alongside regional premieres by Jessie Montgomery, Gabriela Lena Frank, and Jamaican-born composer Eleanor Alberga.
Venue and Parking
Atonement Lutheran Church Elca hosts numerous concert organizations and ensembles, and presents hundreds of concerts every year. NAVO is proud to call ALC its home. Designed by Shaughnessy Fickel and Scott Architects, a modern language invigorated by light underlies the design of the interior space that unfolds as one enters and experiences it (Crosbie, 2003).
As is with the interior of the church, the parking is plentiful. It's available all around the building. No matter at what time you arrive at the church, you have no challenges finding a spot for your car.
