ABOUT THE EVENT

The non-conformist personalities of these three incredible composers make this unique chamber music evening a show not to be missed. Ravel and Fairouz’s quartets stand at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of storytelling: while Ravel’s quartet follows the narrative of his Scheherazade song cycle, Fairouz creates a musical portrait of the four Angels of religious tradition—Mikhael's Thunder, Azrael (Angel of Death), Jibreel (Gabriel) at Hira, and Israfel's Spell. This concert will also mark the debut performance of the newly formed Frontier Quartet, presenting its first program.

Véronique Mathieu, violin

Destiny Mermagen, violin

Shah Sadikov, viola

Michael Mermagen, cello

Atonement Lutheran Church Elca hosts numerous concert organizations and ensembles, and presents hundreds of concerts every year. NAVO is proud to call ALC its home. Designed by Shaughnessy Fickel and Scott Architects, a modern language invigorated by light underlies the design of the interior space that unfolds as one enters and experiences it (Crosbie, 2003).

As is with the interior of the church, the parking is plentiful. It's available all around the building. No matter at what time you arrive at the church, you have no challenges finding a spot for your car.
