ABOUT THE EVENT
We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Mother’s Day celebration concert on May 11 at 7:30pm! For this very special occasion, NAVO Chamber Orchestra will perform a delightful and uplifting program led by conductor Shah Sadikov!
Cellists Mike Mermagen and Dawn Jung will perform Vivaldi’s energetic concerto for two celli while violinists Destiny Mermagan and Véronique Mathieu will give a rendition of Bach’s celebrated concerto for two violins. The program will also include a colorful work by Max Richter, and Copland’s famous Appalachian Spring Suite!
Venue and Parking
Southminster Presbyterian Church 6306 Roe Ave Prairie Village, KS 66208 hosts numerous concert organizations and ensembles, and presents concerts every year. NAVO is proud to present its first concert here.
As is with the interior of the church, the parking is plentiful. It's available all around the building. No matter at what time you arrive at the church, you have no challenges finding a spot for your car.

Designed by Shaughnessy Fickel and Scott Architects, a modern language invigorated by light underlies the design of the interior space that unfolds as one enters and experiences it (Crosbie, 2003).
