ABOUT THE EVENT
We are thrilled to close our 11th season with A Musical Feast for Mother’s Day, an evening of brilliance, virtuosity, and heartfelt expression. Join us at Atonement Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 9 at 7:30pm for a radiant program featuring Mozart’s triumphant Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter”, a work of grandeur and luminous energy that crowns the Classical symphonic tradition.
The evening also showcases Maurice Ravel’s electrifying Tzigane, featuring our Artistic Director, Véronique Mathieu, as soloist in this technically dazzling rhapsody for violin and orchestra—brimming with fiery virtuosity and gypsy-inspired flair. Completing the program is the regional premiere of Grammy-nominated composer Anna Clyne’s deeply moving Within Her Arms (2008), an intimate and poignant meditation on love and remembrance. Together, these works create a rich and expressive celebration—perfect for honoring Mother’s Day with music that inspires, dazzles, and touches the heart.

Southminster Presbyterian Church 6306 Roe Ave Prairie Village, KS 66208 hosts numerous concert organizations and ensembles, and presents concerts every year. NAVO is proud to present its first concert here.
As is with the interior of the church, the parking is plentiful. It's available all around the building. No matter at what time you arrive at the church, you have no challenges finding a spot for your car.

Atonement Lutheran Church Elca hosts numerous concert organizations and ensembles, and presents hundreds of concerts every year. NAVO is proud to call ALC its home. Designed by Shaughnessy Fickel and Scott Architects, a modern language invigorated by light underlies the design of the interior space that unfolds as one enters and experiences it (Crosbie, 2003).
