Justin Brown is a senior at Blue Springs High School where he is involved with the marching band, jazz band, wind symphony, and pit orchestra. Justin has been studying saxophone with Zach Shemon at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance for 3 years now. Justin has been first chair Baritone Sax in the Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA) All-State Band, the All-National Concert Band, and played first chair Alto Sax in the MMEA 2017 All-State Band. He has performed in master classes across the county, performing for world renound saxophonists including Tim McAllister (University of Michigan), Taimur Sullivan (Northwestern University), Christopher Creviston (Arizona State University), and Joeseph lulloff (Michigan State University).
Justin has participated in the Interlochen Saxophone Institute for 2 years, and attended the Interlochen Arts Camp Last summer, where he played in the top saxophone quartet, as well as premiering multiple new works for Saxophone.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys working on cars and computers, as well as teaching Saxophone and studying french. Justin plans to attend college to major in Saxophone Performance and Music Education.
